Very good, but incomplete article. I went with my church group to help in February of 2007. They also sent groups in 2006 and 2008. By far the largest number of people rebuilding were church groups. I saw very little evidence of government or secular assistance. This is not reported. The media always ignore the faith-based groups, because it doesn't fit their picture of religious people being judgmental fundamentalists who want to restrict others' freedoms.
