Norman Sayles on 01-28-2010: When one speaks of massive social conflict, the correct translation in American terms is best exemplified by Watts, Rodney King, MLK Jr., etc. "Massive," the next time around, will include middle-class neighborhoods and even executive estates with security gates. An entitlement mentality is not easily dissuaded once dissatisfaction becomes a blood sport. Bricks and Molotov cocktails will have to suffice for those who are not in a military mode of armament.
